Unexpected Lightness

This morning at 9:17am my divorce was finalized. I didn't know what I would feel and it turned out to be lightness. I am free, no longer tied to someone.

Now I'm at the Social Security Administration office changing my name back to being me. This will be the final legal and symbolic remnant to shed. Breathing much easier now.
