My Vision and Values

I believe in the balance of body-mind-breath as the foundation for reaching our fullest potential. In my work as a creative educator, facilitator, coach, and author I combine Yoga Asana and Pranayama with intention setting and visioning in order for my students and clients to reach their fullest creative potential. The foundation of my vision is to treat others as you want to be treated, with respect, dignity and compassion.

My Mission
I collaborate with individuals, teams and organizations to reach their fullest potential through personal and professional development.

Hearts in San Francisco Auction
in "PacBell Park"
Now MetLife Stadium.
One of my career highlights was managing the Hearts in San Francisco project as the artist and auction coordinator as well as the commemorative book

Working with the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation on Hearts resulted in me then working with the San Francisco General Hospital UCSF Medical Center, Consul General of Mexico-San Francisco and the Museo Frida Kahlo to restore and exhibit Frida's painting The Portrait of Dr. Eloesser

Restorer preparing Frida and Diego's
paintings in Mexico.
This painting and Diego Rivera's La Tortillera were gifts of the artists and are housed at the San Francisco General Hospital. The collaboration resulted in an exhibition of these paintings in Frida's Casa Azul and I was present at the exhibition's closing to ensure the restoration and return of the artwork to San Francisco.

For the Center for Cultural Innovation I presented strategic planning workshops for artists, arts managers, and Board members, and authored a chapter in their book Business of Art: AnArtist’s Guide to Profitable Self-Employment. My non-profit expertise was honed as Director of Arts & Business Partnerships at the Business Arts Council, an in-house affiliate of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. Currently, I am the Director of Professional Development at Intersection for the Arts in San Francisco.

Currently, I teach at Golden Gate University, Oklahoma University and St. Mary's College.

Because I believe in the connection of mind-body-breath in personal development and reaching one’s fullest potential, I have completed a 500-hour yoga teacher certification at The YogaRoom, Berkeley’s Advanced Studies Program and teach weekly classes in aligning body-mind-breath for balance and relaxation. Yoga is also subtly incorporated into my consulting practice.
