My laptop was so settled into my home office that I forgot that it is portable. Funny how that is. I am particularly sensitive about moving it around since it is so old, delicate and still recovering from its fall off my desk over the summer.

I had this sudden realization this morning that I could work at a cafe offering free wifi. So, here I am at my favorite cafe, Julie's on Park in Alameda. Of course they conveniently have decaf roobios chai late which helps my case.
