Walking to an appointment on 17th Street in Oakland I am seeing the smashed windows of small businesses along the BART murder protest route. These businesses were hit by vandals two weeks in a row. Perhaps this evening there will be a third protest march. Maybe the Obama good feeling wave will have changed the tone of protest.
