Looking into the Playing for Change website I am inspired by the clarity, simplicity and creativity of their vision and solution. We need more of these kinds of non-profits. Ones that are making peace and speaking in the vernacular of popular culture. Social enterprise in action!

My First Podcast
This is my first podcast - very short and to the point. Learning to do this so that we can create podcasts of our law seminars at work. I've learned the podcasting and technology skills from various video podcasts I found on YouTube.

This is a beautifully crafted film that leaves you feeling, well, satisfied. Every shot is thoughtfully composed as the script unravels the story of three brothers on an emotional and spiritual journey. Many surprises in this ensemble cast.
The film is both somber and uplifting which is a delicate balance to maintain and here it is successful. The story and images are framed in the colors, flavors and fragrances of India.

Fruitcake Lady
Having just started watching Jay Leno, which we see here in London a few days late but commercial free, I can appreciate a YouTube link my friend Jenny sent me. Apparently there was a woman called the Fruitcake Lady who was a guest on the show and she was quite a character. Unfortunately she passed away recently but you can experience her charm.
