My Vision and Values
I believe in the balance of body-mind-breath as the foundation for reaching our fullest potential. In my work as a creative educator, facilitator, coach, and author I combine Yoga Asana and Pranayama with intention setting and visioning in order for my students and clients to reach their fullest creative potential.

My Mission
Based in Oakland, CA I collaborate with individuals, teams and organizations to reach their fullest potential through personal and professional development as well as strategic planning and business modeling.

My Bio
Over the past 10 years I have created strategic plans for Headlands Center for the Arts, Stern Grove Festival, New Century Chamber Orchestra, and Theatre of Yugen. Additionally, through the Performing Arts Assistance Program of Theatre Bay Area I have guided theater and dance organizations in developing effective business models and improving operations. In 2009 I co-founded C2Arts: Consultants and Coaches for the Arts. C2Arts envisions a vibrant and healthy arts landscape that enlivens our communities.

Hearts in San Francisco Auction in "PacBell Park"
One of my career highlights was managing the Hearts in San Francisco project as the artist and auction coordinator as well as the commemorative book

The Three Amigos exhibition at Museo Friday Kahlo
Working with the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation on Hearts resulted in me then working with the San Francisco General Hospital UCSF Medical Center, Consul General of Mexico-San Francisco and the Museo Frida Kahlo to restore and exhibit Frida's painting The Portrait of Dr. Eloesser

Restorer preparing Frida and Diego's paintings for return
This painting and Diego Rivera's La Tortillera were gifts of the artists and are housed at the San Francisco General Hospital. The collaboration resulted in an exhibition of these paintings in Frida's Casa Azul and I was present at the exhibition's closing to ensure the restoration and return of the artwork to San Francisco.

For the Center for Cultural Innovation I have presented strategic planning workshops for artists, arts managers, and Board members, and authored a chapter in their book Business of Art: AnArtist’s Guide to Profitable Self-Employment. My non-profit expertise was honed as Director of Arts & Business Partnerships at the Business Arts Council, an in-house affiliate of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.

As a faculty member at The Art Institute of California – San Francisco I teach in the Fashion Marketing and Management and Advertising Departments. Courses include: Human Resource Management, Executive Leadership, Organizational Development, and Career Development, E-Commerce Strategies and Analytics, and Entrepreneurship.

I earned a Masters in Arts Administration from Golden Gate University and Bachelors degrees in Cinema/Photography and English from Ithaca College. While a resident of London, England I completed a diploma in Neuro-LinguisticProgramming and certification in Life Coaching from the Coaching Academy. Additionally, I completed Leaders as Coaches Certification at the London Centre for Excellence in Leadership.

Because I believe in the connection of mind-body-breath in personal development and reaching one’s fullest potential, I have completed a 500-hour yoga teacher certification at The YogaRoom, Berkeley’s Advanced Studies Program and teach weekly classes in aligning body-mind-breath for balance and relaxation. Yoga is also subtly incorporated into my consulting practice.
